What Ayo, Luminette, and Pegasi light therapy glasses have in common.

These light therapy glasses help with sleep

Each of these glasses help you with sleep. They are basically designed to boost your energy in the morning and help you fall asleep at night. Ayo, Luminette, and Pegasi light therapy glasses activate your supra-chiasmic nucleus which helps to control your melatonin level production.

When you experience insomnia, lack of sleep, waking up in the middle of the night, or other sleep problems, these light therapy glasses help to adjust your biological clock and circadian rhythm.

These light therapy glasses help with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) or winter blues is usually caused by insufficient exposure to light. If your doctor has recommended light therapy for you, then the Luminette, Ayo, or Pegasi light therapy glasses is a good solution to your SAD problem.

You could use SAD Lamps or boxes where you have to sit in front of the light for 30 minutes in the morning. But those light boxes cost you time because you have to stay in one location to get your light therapy. With these glasses, you can put them on and move on with your daily activities like brushing your teeth or eating breakfast.

These light therapy glasses help with jet lag

People that travel long distances or travel a lot generally experience jet lag. What exactly is jet lag? Jet lag is fatigue from traveling typically caused by difference in time zones. Ayo, Luminette, or the Pegasi light therapy glass can really help you with jet lag.

Just using any of these glasses for 20 minutes will suppress your melatonin levels and give you an immediate boost of energy. Using these light therapy glasses will help reduce the length of time it takes you to recover from jet lag.

These light therapy glasses are convenient to use

Each of these glasses are convenient to use because they are not a light boxes or lamps. You can typically put these glasses on above your own glasses, you can have them on while doing minor chores, they are easy to put on and put off, they turn on/off easily, they charge quickly, and they last a long time per charge. The ayo, luminette, and pegasi light therapy glasses are the most convenient light therapy devices in the market right now.

Now that we have seen some of the things these glasses have in common, let’s explore their differences.

Luminette light therapy glass

The Luminette light therapy has an app. But, the app does not connect to the glasses through Bluetooth. The app is just there for you to schedule reminders to remind you to use the glass. You can also schedule your travel plans and it also has other scheduling features. The app is available in Android and iOS and it is called “MyLuminette.” Go here to read our full review of the Luminette light therapy glasses.

Pegasi 2 light therapy glass

The pegasi light therapy glasses comes with its own app too. This app is available in android and iOS. The Pegasi light therapy glass connects to the app using bluetooth. And the Pegasi light therapy app can be used without the app. The app has different programs you can choose from. Since the app is not mandatory in order to use the glasses, the Pegasi light therapy app can be use to enhance your experience with the pegasi light therapy glasses.

The pegasi 2 glasses and app is like an intermediate between AYO light therapy glasses and Luminette light therapy glasses app. This is unlike the Ayo glasses that you can’t use without the app, and unlike the luminette light therapy glass that doesn’t connect the app. Go here to read our full review of the pegasi 2 light therapy glass.

I bought Luminette 3 and am satisfied because they don’t require a smart phone. I don’t have a smart phone. AYO requires a smart phone which many people don’t have. Has anyone worn the glasses for more than 20 minutes. How long does it take to get help with sleep?? Would love to hear from other users of Luminette 3. Is there a blog?? Thanks.

I have done extensive research on all three, including if lights approved for safety and standards, types of lights and info in colors, independent reviews, including Amazon comments, Q&A and reviews, but also other reviews.
I have decided on Ago, mainly because.of the app that is very helpful. It provides you with a schedule and (hopefully) tracks completion. The Luminette was my 2nd best but it’s app is very basic and peimarily is a timer. Can’t rembmver if Luminette 3 changed that.
Mayo is also the.most streamlined and lightest. It might be more comfortable and a better fit due to the nose piece, but I do know that Luminette 3 improved its nose piece. If you are getting the Luminette, a reviewer said, “Don’t pull the reflective strip when pulling off blue film. She almost did. That may not pertain to the updated 3rd Luminette, but I made note of it, just in case, so I pass it in to you.
Luminette supposedly has the brightest lights, which I liked. But 2-3 people said they were too strong. One.l was angry and returned them immediately. One used the lowest light for a shorter time and increased gradually to give her eyes time to adjust.
If you can get on a computer, go to Amazon.com, and check out their reviews. There was a gentleman who had bad sleep problems for over 40 years. He said he purchased one of these glasses for a couple of weeks, feeling just a little better in the mornings, until one night he was so sleepy, he to lay down. He immediately fell asleep and slept like a rock all night. It was the first time in all those years, and now he goes to sleep at a regular time each night.
So good luck with your glasses. By the way, in Amazon, you can search for the Luminette 3, and when you look at the information for that produce, towards the bottom is a place for questions.
